Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 28, 2026
Wren Brief ("we," "our," or "the app") is operated by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you provide
- Watchlist tickers — stored locally on your device only.
- Language and theme preferences — stored locally on your device only.
- In-app purchase status — managed by Apple and RevenueCat (see "Third-party services" below).
Information collected automatically
- Device identifier — a random anonymous ID is generated by RevenueCat for subscription management. This identifier cannot be used to personally identify you.
- Crash and error logs — if the app crashes, anonymous diagnostic data may be sent to Apple via standard iOS crash reporting (only if you have opted in to share with developers in iOS Settings).
Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or address.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location.
- We do not use third-party advertising networks or analytics SDKs (Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, etc.).
- We do not sell or share any personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
How market data is generated
Wren Brief generates daily market briefings by sending the day's financial news headlines to AI models for summarization. This process happens server-side at our AI providers and does not involve any of your personal information. Only public market headlines are processed.
